I am starting a Prayer Signing for my girlfriend's son who is fighting A.L.L. (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia).
Nick Doize, 16, has been fighting this insidious disease for more than 3-1/2 years. He is a student at Taylor High School in Katy , TX , but has been homebound for most of his high school years. He is one heck of a fighter and remains positive, despite everything he has endured.
This young man needs all the prayers he can get, because he is trying so hard to take the pain like a man, even though it is excrutiating. GOAL: 1000 + prayers / signatures from all over the country/world, so please sign(type) your name at the bottom of list below, say a prayer, and pass it on to as many people as you trust to forward this on. When I get to 1000, I am going to print it, & email it to his parents & him, so that he can see how many people care and have prayed for him to get better. If you have a heart at all, you will all do this as a disciple of God. I love this kid and believe the best way for us to help him heal is to do as Christ taught us --- Have Faith, Ask, and It shall be Given unto You.

how is Nick doing after all this time?
ReplyDeleteI have prayer concern I'd like to share.
My son Jim's girlfriend, "M". 33yrs old, is very sick. She had gastric bypass a couple of
yrs ago, and it has not worked after the lst 18 months. She lost 100 pounds, but all the wt is back plus more. She had very sudden wt gain, has swelling (that means also poor circulation), very bad shortness of breath,no metabolism, hormones wacky, no iron, no energy etc etc.
She was not sleeping well and I dont think that has changed. She was usually up most of the night, sleeping in daytime. She is almost bedridden at this point.
Going from one specialist to another.She and Jim are both nurses---and believe she needs total body care---maybe to be hospitalized if they can find a doc who will take care of the whole person, not just a specialized part.... I am very worried about her. A cold or
flu would not be good for her at this time. My son works long long
hours and is trying to care for her also. His stress levels are high, and his health may be in jeopardy also.
I would help, but they are in Houston and trying to do this on their own.
Please pray for my son Jim, and his girlfriend "M". They are Christian and love the Lord.
